The Orion Trio from the Omaha Chamber Music Society will be featured during Thursday’s Music as Medicine concert at noon in the Durham Outpatient Center West Atrium.
This exciting new woodwind ensemble includes Omaha Symphony members Leslie Fagan (flute), John Klinghammer (clarinet) and Adam Trussell (bassoon).
Founded last spring, Orion is committed to the exploration of a wide range of traditional woodwind repertoire as well as newly commissioned works by young composers.
The Orion Trio is a versatile ensemble that can tailor performances to fit a wide range of audiences and venues and has begun making recital appearances in and around Omaha. Recent performances include an engagement at the Breckenridge Music Festival Winter Series in Breckenridge, Colo.
