Peter Hagg and Tricia Koziol take a walk through the haunted house set up at MMI. “A lot of the time, haunted houses aren’t handicapped accessible, so we try to provide the typical haunted house experience here, especially for the children at JP Lord in wheelchairs,” said Kelley Coutts, assistant director of recreation therapy at MMI. “It’s more fun than scary, but still stimulating in its own way.” |
The MMI adult social club held a Halloween party last Thursday. Pictured here from left are participant Brian Davidson, recreational technician Brian LeFebvre and participant Stephen McNeil. |
A pumpkin was carved in the likeness of Interim MMI director, Mike Leibowitz, Ph.D., for the employee appreciation picnic held earlier in October. |
The Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at MMI also had fun with Halloween. Employees are pictured here with director Wayne Fisher, Ph.D., fourth from left in the back row. |
Not to be outdone, employees of the Human Genetics Lab at MMI also dressed up on Oct. 31. Pictured from left to right are Dani Johnson, Lisa Winkler, Emily Andersen, Andria Anderson, Lisa Gerjevic, Jackie Evans and Denae Golden. |
