As of Tuesday morning, UNMC employees had raised $96,975 during the 2008 United Way campaign.
That total is about 69 percent of the goal for the drive, which is $140,980.
The drive started last Monday and ends Friday, Oct. 31.
The total raised to this point is impressive but UNMC’s United Way campaign manager, Jill Carson, said there’s still plenty of work to be done to reach the goal.
“More than half the campus has yet to participate in this year’s drive,” Carson said. “I know that we can reach our goal if all our employees participate.”
