Quick, think of five things others should know about you.
That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”
Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee or student to feature.
This week, we feature Michael Munson, a multimedia technician in ITS Video Services.
Here, in his own words, are five fun facts about Michael.
Michael Munson |
- I have a birthmark on my left knee that was originally a four-leaf clover before one of many skateboarding falls turned it into a three-leaf clover;
- I made fresh corndogs and lemonade from scratch during my formative years at Corndog On a Stick. Oh, and I was a shoe shine boy in a barber shop before that.
- I have a degree in music performance on the upright bass from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, but now work in IT.
- I’m an avid cyclist and commute year round nearly every day, even on a negative 8 degree Fahrenheit morning last winter. The longest ride I’ve done was 144 miles.
- My girlfriend of 17 years, Michelle, asked me out with a note in eighth grade.
