10 nursing students at UNMC College of Nursing West Nebraska Division in Scottsbluff receive $1,000 scholarships

Ten students enrolled in the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing West Nebraska Division in Scottsbluff received $1,000 scholarships from the Methodist Church Emma Kienke Nursing Scholarship and Fellowship Fund.
 
Kienke was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff for many years until her passing in 2001. She remembered fondly nurses who cared for her mother during her hospitalizations. The new scholarship was established through the University of Nebraska Foundation.
