Camp Quality Heartland Aug. 9 golf tournament in Omaha to benefit children with cancer

The public is invited to participate in a golf tournament Aug. 9 that will benefit children with cancer. The tournament, sponsored by Camp Quality Heartland, will be held at Tara Hills Golf Course, 1410 Western Hills Drive in Papillion.
 
Camp Quality Heartland is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that provides free year-round support programs for children ages 3 to 18 with cancer, and their siblings. All programs are funded through private donations. Faculty and staff from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and its hospital partner, The Nebraska Medical Center, are volunteers in the organization.
 
Registration for the tournament will begin at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Cost for a 4-person team is $240 and includes green fees, cart, dinner, pin prizes, and flight prizes. Four-person team and hole sponsorship is $305. Hole sponsorships are $65. Donations of cash or prizes also are accepted.
