Here, in his own words, are five fun facts about Bill.
My middle name is Robert. Yes, that’s right, I’m a Billy Bob. Still known that way in hometown of Sumner, population 220.
My wife, Jen, is the patient care coordinator at the UNMC HIV Clinic. She’s the brains of the family.
I’m the youngest of seven children.
Daughters Camille, 3.5, and Olivia (Livvy), 2, bring joy to my life every day.
In college, as a part-time sportswriter, I covered a high school eight-man football game with a final score of 97-52. The box score was 6 inches long.
