The UNMC budget, campus traffic, the UNMC career development Web site and an initiative to ban Affirmative Action in Nebraska will be discussed during employee forums today and Tuesday.
Speakers at the forums will include Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D.; Myrna Newland, M.D., director of the UNMC Equity Office; John Russell, assistant vice chancellor for business and finance, human resources; Glen Houpt III, director of staffing and compensation, human resources; and Ken Hansen, assistant vice chancellor for business and finance, facilities management and planning.
The forums will take place at noon today in the College of Nursing, Rooms 1011 and 1012, and at 9 a.m. on Tuesday in the Wittson Hall Amphitheater.
Light refreshments will be served at each forum. A sign language interpreter will be available at Tuesday’s forum, which will be broadcast to the following UNMC campus locations:
- Lincoln: College of Dentistry, Dixon Hall;
- Lincoln: College of Nursing, Room 343;
- Kearney: UNK Room 148; and
- Scottsbluff: College of Nursing, Room 203.
