The chancellor’s office has 15 free passes to Friday’s opening reception of the EcoHuts exhibit at the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center. The passes are available to UNMC employees on a first-come, first-served basis.
The reception will run from 4 to 7 p.m. and feature seven EcoHuts, which are structures that meld architecture, engineering and technology with the environment to create a place where bicycles turn on lights, plastic bottles provide shelter and the roofs of homes are truly alive.
UNMC Business and Finance is a sponsor for the EcoHuts exhibit, which will be at Fontenelle Forest until Nov. 2. The exhibit is designed for people of all ages.
Contact Anita Solon at 559-6300 for more information about the passes and click here to see more about the EcoHuts exhibit.
