How a community and its first responders react in the aftermath of a tragedy such as the Dec. 5 Von Maur shooting will be the focus of a forum tomorrow in Omaha.
The forum, which will be at the Holiday Inn Convention Center at 3321 S. 72nd St., will focus on the different phases of response following such a calamity. The forum is sponsored by Region 6 Behavioral Health Services, the UNMC Department of Psychiatry, Omaha Metropolitan Medical Response System (OMMRS), the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and the Nebraska Public Policy Center.
