The Partnership for Community Wellness and Metropolitan Community College will provide free health screenings on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Metropolitan Community College Fort Omaha Campus, Building 10. Those wanting screenings are asked to arrive no later than 12:30 p.m.
Screenings include height/weight/body mass index; blood pressure; blood sugar; cholesterol; and breast exams for adults. Vision and dental checks also will be available for adults and children, as well as lead testing for children under age 7.
Co-sponsors of the event are the UNMC College of Nursing-Cosmopolitan Mobile Nursing Center, UNMC Eppley Cancer Center and YWCA’s Every Woman Matters program.
