A graduating University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry student, Lennard R. Hopper, received the International College of Dentists Leadership Award at ceremonies held at the Nebraska Dental Association’s Recognition Luncheon on March 30 in Omaha, Neb.
The International College of Dentists is an honorary organization for the recognition of outstanding and meritorious service to the profession of dentistry and the community.
The College presented Hopper with a plaque recognizing his conspicuous leadership during the years of his dental studies at the UNMC College of Dentistry, where he served as President of the Nebraska Chapter of the American Student Dental Association.
Hopper is a native of Pierre, S.D., and plans to establish a dental practice in Deadwood, S.D., following his graduation from the UNMC College of Dentistry in May.
