Bryce M. Goebel receives the American College of Dentists Outstanding Leader Award

A graduating University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry student, Bryce M. Goebel, received the American College of Dentists Outstanding Leader Award at ceremonies held at the Nebraska Dental Association’s Recognition Luncheon on March 30 in Omaha, Neb.

The American College of Dentists is an honorary professional organization of dentists who have exemplified excellence through outstanding leadership and exceptional contributions to dentistry and society. The College presented Goebel with a plaque recognizing his leadership and scholarship during the years of his dental studies at the UNMC College of Dentistry, as well as his potential for impact on the profession of dentistry.

Goebel has also received numerous scholarships and awards during his four years at the UNMC College of Dentistry, and was very active in volunteer activities for needy children. He is a native of Bismarck, N.D., and will enter a residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Iowa following his graduation from the UNMC College of Dentistry in May.
