Campus security uniforms soon will be displaying a new uniform patch, said Sgt. Jeff Ebel, security uniform/equipment coordinator.
The current red and white patch, which displays the outdated “UN” logo, will be replaced with a black and gold patch with the Nebraska State Seal in the middle. “CAMPUS” will be displayed at the top of the patch and “SECURITY” at the bottom, said Sgt. Ebel, who designed the new patch.
“We are changing uniform patches, not services provided to our campus community,” Sgt. Ebel said.
Campus Security will begin switching to the new patches mid-April to early May.
