Campus forums for faculty and staff have been scheduled for Tuesday at UNMC.
Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., John Russell, assistant vice chancellor for human resources, and Jayme Nekuda, manager of health promotion at UNMC, are scheduled to speak at the forums. The topics that will be covered include the University of Nebraska’s budget and its search for a new president; UNMC’s new wellness program, SimplyWell; the rollout of a midtown revitalization plan, Destination Midtown; and Human Resources’ image campaign and the results from the latest employee surveys.
The forums will begin at 8 a.m. and at 3 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, May 18, in the Durham Research Center auditorium. The afternoon forum will be broadcast to several locations, including:
- Kearney: UNK Communications Building, Room 217;
- Scottsbluff: Panhandle Station, Room 2005; and,
- Lincoln: College of Dentistry, Dixon Room; College of Nursing, TC 202.
The afternoon forum will be transmitted over NET2, Channel 102; UNL campus channel 07; and the College of Dentistry channel.
