Hawkins Construction Co. has erected a nearly 20 foot Christmas tree — complete with holiday lights — on the eighth floor of the Durham Research Center.
At night, motorists can see the brightly lit tree, as well as the holiday lights on the top of the crane.
Within the next two weeks, construction workers will pour the roof deck on the 10-level building (two levels are below ground).
