UNMC invites nurses to attend Sept. 15, 16 session in Grand Island to learn about pursuing bachelor’s, master’s degrees in nursing

The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing invites

those interested in pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees in nursing

to attend informational sessions.

Below are information sessions and times.

Sept. 15  Conestoga Mall, South Central Nebraska college

fair 1 to 4 p.m.

Sept. 16  St. Francis Medical Center, OBrien II Room, 2620

West Faidley Ave.

4 to 5 p.m. Registered nurse to bachelors degree or masters degree

in nursing

5 to 6 p.m. Masters degree in nursing

Dani Eveloff, R.N., M.S.N., recruiting coordinator for the UNMC College

of Nursing, will be available to answer questions.

Non-nursing courses taken to pursue a bachelor’s degree can be earned

at any accredited colleges and will apply toward a degree through UNMC.

Some of UNMC’s nursing courses are accessible through the Internet, which

offers students the flexibility of learning at home according to their

schedule.
