Nurses invited to UNMC informational sessions Sept. 12 in North Platte to learn about pursuing bachelor’s, master’s degrees with greater flexibility

The University of Nebraska Medical Center invites nurses interested

in earning bachelors or masters degrees in nursing to attend informational

sessions in North Platte, Sept. 12, to learn about ways to earn a degree

with greater flexibility through Internet-based and other distance education.

Informational sessions will be held at the below times and locations.

Sept. 12  Great Plains Regional Medical Center, Conference room

3-E, 601 W. Leota St.

4 to 5 p.m. Nursing diploma or associates degree to bachelors degree

in nursing

5 to 6 p.m. Masters degree in nursing

7 to 9 p.m. North Platte High School college fair, 1000 W. 2nd. St.

Non-nursing courses taken to pursue a bachelor’s degree can be earned

at any accredited colleges and will apply toward a degree through. Some

of UNMC’s nursing courses are accessible through the Internet, which offers

students the flexibility of learning at home according to their schedule.

Dannette Eveloff, M.S.N., R.N., recruitment coordinator, will conduct
