The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing invites
nurses interested in pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees in nursing
to attend an informational sessions Monday, April 15 and Tuesday, April
16 in North Platte.
Nurses who are interested in learning about UNMCs nursing programs
can stop by one of two locations. Below are locations, sessions and times.
Monday, April 15
Great Plains Regional Medical Center, 3E Conference Room, 601 West
Leota St.
· Registered nurse to bachelors degree in nursing, 4 to 5 p.m.
· Masters degree in Nursing, 5 to 6 p.m.
Tuesday, April 16
Nebraska Plains Higher Education Center, Auditorium
· Registered nurse to bachelors degree in nursing, 9 to 10
a.m.
· Masters degree in Nursing, 10 to 11 a.m.
Mid-Plains Community College, Technical Campus, Nursing Library
· Registered nurse to bachelors degree or masters degree in
nursing, noon to 12:30 p.m.
Non-nursing courses taken to pursue a bachelor’s degree can be earned
at any accredited college and will apply toward a degree through UNMC.
UNMC nursing courses are accessible through the Internet, which offers
students the flexibility of learning at home according to their schedule.
