Due to the success of UNMC’s Thank ‘U’ Reward program, Human Resource has developed an e-mail account dedicated to the program. Beginning today (April 1) requests to send a Thank ‘U’ Reward should be made to thanku@unmc.edu. The dedicated e-mail address will enable several individuals in Human Resources to access the account and expedite processing of the awards.
The message should include the name of the recipient, department of recipient, campus ZIP code, name of sender and the message to be placed on the card.
Initiated Oct. 29, 1999, the Thank ‘U’ Reward is a way for employees to recognize their colleagues for outstanding service. The recipient will receive a Thank ‘U’ card and a medallion redeemable for gifts or services. Since its inception, more than 7,418 Thank ‘U’ Rewards have been sent.
