Twenty Pharmacy Students at UNMC In Who’s Who of Students

Twenty students from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College

of Pharmacy are included in the 2002 edition of Whos Who Among Students

in American Universities and Colleges.

A campus nominating committee and editors of the annual directory have

included the names of these students based on their academic achievement,

community service, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential

for continued success.

Because of these types of students, the future of the pharmacy profession

is very bright, said Clarence Ueda, Pharm.D., Ph.D., dean of the College

of Pharmacy. Im delighted to have this number of students honored. They

certainly deserve this recognition.

The students join an elite group of students from more than 2,300 institutions

of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several

foreign nations. The annual directory has been published since 1934.
