UNMC Invites Nurses to Attend March 8 Session in Grand Island for Information on Pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s Degrees In Nursing

The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing invites

registered nurses interested in pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees

in nursing to attend an informational session Thursday, March 8, in Grand

Island.

Nurses who are interested in learning about UNMCs nursing programs

can stop by in the OBrien II Room at the St. Francis Medical Center, 2620

West Faidley Ave.

Below are information sessions and times.

Thursday, March 8

4 to 5 p.m.

Diploma/associates degree in nursing to registered nurse/bachelors

degree in nursing

and registered nurse to masters degree in nursing

5 to 6 p.m.

Masters degree in nursing

Non-nursing courses taken to pursue a bachelor’s degree can be earned

at any accredited colleges and will apply toward a degree through UNMC.

UNMC nursing courses are accessible through the Internet, which offers

students the flexibility of learning at home according to their schedule.
