Twenty-four hours a day seven days a week, KETV-Channel 7 Healthwatch
correspondent Ed Dominguez, M.D. is available to assist the public with
medical questions. Via the Internet, Dr. Dominguez, an associate professor
of infectious diseases at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, hosts
a forum where participants may submit medical-related questions for him
to answer.
“This is an excellent medium for the public to get answers to medical
questions they have been curious about for years,” Dr. Dominguez said.
“In general, participants who submit a question will receive a response
within 24 hours.”
Anyone with general health questions, or questions relating to a topic
Dr. Dominguez discussed on KETV, can post their question to him at
http://www.unmc.edu/healthwatch.
KETV viewers can watch Dr. Dominguez every Tuesday and Friday at 5 p.m.
and every Saturday at 10 p.m. They can also see him live every Thursday
at 5 p.m. when he discusses new developments in health care. If a viewer
misses his report, they can read it on this same site and check out upcoming
topics. People also will be able to e-mail comments and story suggestions
to Dr. Dominguez.
