Conference in Omaha
The Third Annual State-of-the-Art
Nursing conference will be held April 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
at the Omaha Marriott Hotel, 10220 Regency Circle. The
conference, aimed at nurses and people in nursing management and

these challenges while promoting essential nursing values."
Conference sessions will focus on
discussions looking at the evolving roles of nursing and how to
achieve nursing excellence and a healthy work environment in the
midst of organizational change.
A keynote address, titled,
"Excellence in Nursing-Achieving Magnet Status," will
be delivered by Carol Robinson, associate director of hospital,
clinics and patient care services at the University of
California-Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
Another national speaker will be

Healthy Work Environments," which will discuss what she sees
as the main challenge for the next decade.
