UNMC Nursing Students Earn
Dean’s List Honors
One hundred twenty-two students from the
University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing were
named to the dean’s list following the 1997 fall semester. To
qualify for the dean’s list, students must have a grade point
average of 3.8 or above.
The UNMC College of Nursing, with divisions in
Omaha, Lincoln, Kearney and Scottsbluff, is the largest nursing
college in Nebraska. It is the only nursing college in the state
to offer bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.

UNMC is the only public academic health science
center in the state. Through its commitment to research,
education and patient care, UNMC has established itself as one of

treatment and solid organ transplantation. More than $25 million
in research grants and contracts are awarded to UNMC scientists
annually. In addition, UNMC’s educational programs are
responsible for training more health professionals practicing in
