Two Pharmacy Students Elected To Top Offices on UNMC Student Senate


 


Two College of Pharmacy students from Omaha have been elected to head the Student Senate at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Julie Chase, a third-year pharmacy student, will serve as president, while Amy Farha-Neary, a second-year pharmacy student, will serve as vice president.


Chase is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Chase and a 1993 graduate of Northwest High School. As president, Chase will serve as the voice of the student body, presenting the University of Nebraska Board of Regents with student views on campus issues.


Farha-Neary is a 1991 graduate of Marian High School and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Farha. The one-year term for both women begins Jan. 1.
