For the next several weeks, repairs will take place on sidewalks on the Nebraska Medical Center campus. The six projects will address safety concerns and add Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance as needed. While the work is in progress, pedestrians may be impacted and redirected to a temporary route.
The anticipated sidewalk repair schedule is listed below, but is dependent on the weather.
May 28-30:
- North entrance of Kiewit Tower, near shuttle stop
- Clarkson Doctor’s Building North, near the loading dock on 44th Street
- Farnam Street, south sidewalk between Saddle Creek Road and 44th Street
June 1:
- Lied Transplant Center, near loading zone off of Emile Street
- Dewey Street, near parking garage across from Clarkson Tower
Additionally, repairs are needed outside of the Specialty Services Pavilion, near the Durham Outpatient Center. This will take approximately one week and will occur sometime in June.
