Adult Programs

Typically developed adult adult helps an adult with a disability do an activity at a table, Canva.

We make it a priority to offer adult participants social opportunities to interact with peers, activity technicians and typically developing volunteers.

In addition to being professionally trained in recreational therapy, providers in our adult programs are passionate about transforming the lives of individuals with disabilities and complex health care needs.

Eligibility and Fees

  • All programs in this section are for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Some programs are for adults 18 and older while others are for adults over the age of 21.
  • Details are included on each program page.
  • Participation Note: These programs are not designed to serve individuals who have severe behavioral problems such as aggressive acts towards others, self-injurious behaviors and/or destruction of property (throwing and/or damaging furniture and equipment).
  • Adult recreational therapy programs have a fee to participate.
  • Scholarships may be available.
