Cooking Club

Learn cooking skills and kitchen safety through preparation of tasty, multi-part meals.
The Cooking Club provides adult participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to develop the kitchen skills needed to cut vegetables, measure and mix ingredients, use stoves and ovens and more.
- Individuals age 18 and older are invited to participate.
Prepare and cook all different types of meals and cuisines and save recipes in your own cookbook. Dietary restrictions are taken into consideration when necessary. Cooking Club is led by a trained recreation therapist with the assistance of activity technicians.
Details and Schedule
Cooking Club is typically offered once a month as three sessions on weekday evenings. Participants can sign up for one of the three sessions each month.

- Transportation is not provided.
- There is a fee for this program and scholarships may be available.
