Aquatics

An aquatic program for adults with extreme mobility restrictions, medical fragilities, or sensory processing impairments.

Adult Swim provides recreational and social opportunities for adults who require active transfer and in-water assistance. A trained recreation therapist oversees the program and activity technicians assist participants in MMI’s heated therapy pool.

  • Individuals age 18 and older are invited to participate.

Details and Schedule

This program runs on Tuesday evenings in the fall and spring. Sessions are 45 minutes long over six weeks.
  • Space in this program is limited.
  • Transportation is not provided.
  • There is a fee for this program and scholarships may be available.
