The Osteogenesis Imperfecta and Bone Dysplasia Clinic offers compassionate care, advanced medical options and continued research aimed at targeted treatments.

Specialists working together in one location ensures the most effective, comfortable and convenient care for individuals who have bone fragility, osteogenesis imperfecta or other skeletal dysplasia such as short stature and abnormal bone structure.

The goal of this clinic is to improve the quality of life for children with these conditions.

This clinic is a partnership between UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute and Children’s Nebraska. Providers from both groups and from many different areas and disciplines offer treatment focused on the whole child, not just their condition.

Clinic Details

Children with osteogenesis imperfecta have fragile bones that break easily. Others with short stature and/or abnormal bone structure may have a genetic skeletal dysplasia disorder.
