The opportunity to participate in research this summer at Munroe-Meyer Institute has been an incredible success and experience. The opportunity as an undergraduate to be surrounded by such collaborative, innovative, and critical thinkers really gave me a better understanding of how research is conducted, how research can help make critical decisions for patients, and how being an active member of the program enriches every aspect of your life.

I could not have asked for a better summer research experience. I learned something new everything day and was immersed in the research process from beginning to end. My PI allowed me to work on projects that interested me and supported me in my career goals. I know that going forward, my mentors will continue to assist me in whatever I decide to do.
