Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapy team collaborates across the institute with colleagues in many different areas of research.

Department Research Areas

  • Improving family and child outcomes for the at-risk infant.
  • Understanding how individuals with movement disorders use their vision while planning and performing actions.

  • Assessing early transition planning, by focusing on instrumental activities of daily living skills, social skills training, vocational skills training, independent living skills and community mobility and integration.

  • Allowing the client to express fears and concerns, and offering assistance with problem solving.
