Experience MMI Firsthand
From pediatric to adult programs designed to transform the lives of individuals with disabilities to educational activities for parents and caregivers, our primary charge is to serve families.Home to more than 70 faculty members, our institute also is a teaching facility, providing academic education to interns, fellows, post-docs and other trainees and MMI department staff routinely provide professional development opportunities for community members and partners.
MMI's robust research program includes several on-site laboratories and many projects are funded from university, federal or state sources. Although our faculty, staff and students have a wide range of expertise, all studies focus on the needs of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, connecting families and the community with our mission.
