Advance Interdisciplinary Leadership

As a LEND trainee in this intensive, interdisciplinary leadership training program, you will focus on the area of neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Trainees in this program will have opportunities to participate in didactics, research, community-based learning and leadership, clinical practicum experiences and interdisciplinary training clinics, all focusing on neurodevelopmental disabilities.
  • We invite graduate students, residents, postdoctoral fellows and practicing professionals to apply.
  • Students participate in this program from July 1 through April 30 annually.
  • Recruitment begins in January.
  • This program can include a cohort of 10-12 trainees, postdoctoral fellows and practicing professionals from any of 15 various health and allied disciplines.
  • 600-hour program.
  • Stipends are available.

Core Leadership

As a clinical trainee, Nebraska LEND at MMI can provide you a Core Interdisciplinary Leadership Certificate. The core training curriculum offers a primarily clinical focus for about 75 trainees each year to build skills and experience in the core competency areas of interdisciplinary practice and family-centered care, as well as opportunities for students to develop knowledge of life course theory and its practical application.

  • We invite graduate students, residents and postdoctoral fellows who are not participating in the LEND Interdisciplinary Leadership Certificate curriculum or the LEND Autism Leadership Academy to apply.
  • 80-hour program.
