Nebraska LEND offers autism spectrum disorders-focused training for graduate students, residents, postdoctoral fellows and practicing professionals.
Advanced Interdisciplinary Leadership
This intensive, interdisciplinary training program includes didactics, research, community learning and leadership, clinical practicum experiences and interdisciplinary training clinics in the area of neurodevelopmental disabilities. An emphasis is placed on autism spectrum disorders for trainees from disciplines central to research, diagnosis and evidence-based interventions for autism and related disorders. Relevant disciplines include medicine, nursing, education, speech-language pathology, psychology, occupational therapy and social work.- We invite graduate students, residents, postdoctoral fellows and practicing professionals to apply.
- This program begins July 1 and ends on April 30 annually.

Advanced Autism Spectrum Disorders Practitioner
This training program offers autism spectrum disorders-specific practicum and leadership experiences to practicing professionals and other trainees in disciplines that are central to the provision of services for children, youth and adults on the autism spectrum.
Didactics and practicum are customized so each trainee can focus on the autism spectrum disorders and leadership skills they wish to develop.

Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis
This training program provides support for coursework and the supervised clinical practicum required for professionals to obtain board certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, the fastest growing evidence-based intervention in Nebraska for individuals on the autism spectrum.
- We invite practicing professionals in the fields of education, vocational rehabilitation, speech-language pathology and psychology to apply.
- Trainees can begin the program throughout the year and can complete up to two years of training and supervision.
Early Intervention Training Track
Trainees enrolled in LEND's Advanced Autism Spectrum Disorders Practitioner program with a specific interest in providing early intervention services and parent training for families with toddlers on the autism spectrum may complete a competency-based LEND curriculum, including didactics and clinical practicum training at MMI's Autism Care for Toddlers Clinics.
