LEND Postdoctoral Fellowship

• These positions are available to postdocs in health administration, developmental medicine, genetics, public health, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, special education and speech-language. Postdoctoral applicants in other fields may be considered.
• Job postings for these UNMC research associate positions open on Nov. 1 of the preceding year. Applicants must have completed all the requirements for their doctoral degree (not including the actual presentation of the degree) before beginning the postdoctoral program. 
• To apply, please visit the UNMC jobs website and search for postdoctoral research associate positions at Munroe-Meyer Institute. You will need to submit the following documents:
• Letter of interest.
• Curriculum Vitae.
• Official graduate transcript sent directly to the LEND training director.
• Three letters of recommendation.

All Other LEND Trainees

• Recruitment for all of the 600-hour Advanced Interdisciplinary Leadership Training Programs begins in January of the preceding year.
• Recruitment for all other training programs takes place year round and applications can be submitted at any time. 

LEND trainees are often recruited through their disciplines/departments at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Munroe-Meyer Institute. However, trainee candidates from outside MMI can also apply directly to the Nebraska LEND program.

To submit an application to the program, you will need the following documents:

• Personal letter of interest that presents the applicant’s career goals and how they are compatible with the LEND mission.
  

• Resume or Curricula Vitae.
• Three letters of recommendation from faculty supervisors/employers familiar with your academic and/or professional clinical performance and your leadership potential.
  • Individuals with a disability or family members applying to the program may submit letters of recommendation from individuals who can speak to their experience with children with neurodevelopmental or related disabilities and their families and can speak to their leadership potential.
    
• Official collegiate transcript sent directly to the LEND training director.
