Certificate Programs

MMI offers certificates for undergraduate studies, Inclusive Postsecondary Educational and pre-vocational career training and interdisciplinary LEND training.
IPSE and Pre-Vocational Career Training
Inclusive Postsecondary Educational and pre-vocational career training programs offer exciting learning possibilities for young adult students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Although they have different characteristics and offer a variety of experiences, program completion most commonly results in earning a certificate.
Interdisciplinary Leadership Training
Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders
- Nebraska's LEND Program at at the Munroe-Meyer Institute trains future and current leaders in the area of neurodevelopmental disabilities and complex health care needs.
- While each LEND course is unique with its own focus and expertise, they all provide interdisciplinary training, have faculty and trainees across a wide range of disciplines and aim to improve the health of infants, children and adolescents with disabilities.

Internship Opportunities

Community Engagement
Part-time unpaid internships to advance the empowerment of individuals with disabilities and complex health care needs and their families are available within MMI community engagement.
