Michelle Tinnes, BS, MS, is a Respite Care Associate at the Nebraska's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Munroe-Meyer Institute.

Prior to joining the MMI team, Tinnes was with the public school system for over 28 years. Tinnes was a classroom teacher and a School Counselor during her time with the public school system.
Tinnes has a earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She also earned a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Creighton University.
Tinnes serves individuals and families through programs offered at the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.
