Professional Bio
As an aunt of a nephew diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, Htu is aware of the challenges that families have to go through for their loved ones who have developmental disabilities. She has seen the number of children diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities increasing in her migrant refugee community and it has made her passionate about serving these individuals and their families. Htu wants to bridge the gap to connect these families with the best possible resources and eliminate any cultural, communication or other barriers that they face. She is honored to work alongside migrant refugee families to help guide and provide resources for them to utilize during this challenging, but still amazing, journey.
