All the worries and unknowns of parenthood are heightened when you are raising a child with special needs. In addition to medical and educational concerns, there are the uncertainties about ways to foster your child’s social and emotional needs. As a mother with a young adult on the autism spectrum, Kelly is continually searching for resources that will expand her daughter’s social circle and support her educational goals, and channels to find peer supports for their entire family.
Kelly wants her daughter and all individuals with special needs to live fulfilling, vibrant and independent lives. She strives to provide caregivers with the resources they need to be their children’s best advocates.
