Professional Bio
Through personal experiences, Bright has learned how important accessing the right early intervention services and resources can be for a child with special needs as well as their family. Her son was diagnosed with a developmental delay as a toddler, and a later received a diagnosis of Asperger’s as a teenager. Her journey at times was stressful and challenging, and sometimes still is now that he is an adult. Bright wishes she had someone who could have helped her family during those difficult times. She also has experience working with children with special needs in a variety of settings and was a disability examiner for Nebraska. Parents serve as their child’s first teacher and their best advocate. Bright is here to guide, support, and empower parents through their journey.
Bright provides resources and support for families at the following locations:
- Bluestem Health | Lincoln, Nebraska.
- CHI, Antelope Creek Health Clinic | Lincoln, Nebraska.
