Professional Bio
Rodriguez's desire to help families navigate the disability world comes from her personal experience as a sibling of an individual with Down syndrome. Growing up, she became aware of the challenges, uncertainties and language barriers a family can face. Her mission now is to advocate for her brother, and to stay informed and educated on the appropriate resources that are available not only to her family, but for all families. As a Parent Resource Coordinator, she is here to offer support, encourage families and provide equal access to individuals with disabilities. Her goal is for caregivers to feel empowered and hopeful in their journey.
