Candi Koenig, BS, Ed, is a Parent Resource Coordinator in the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute's Family Care Enhancement Project.

Professional Bio

When Koenig learned that her child had special needs, her family’s whole world changed. At first, life was extremely stressful, overwhelming, lonely and confusing. As a Parent Resource Coordinator, she helps guide and encourage parents to advocate not only for their child with special needs, but for their entire family unit. The journey through medical, behavioral and educational systems of care does not need to be walked alone. Koenig's goal is for your family to feel empowered, knowledgeable, supported and hopeful.
