Professional Bio

As an advocate for her own family and two children that are diagnosed with ASD, ADHD and anxiety, Albuja has been able to research and find valuable resources that helped her to understand her children better. As an outcome of that advocacy for her children, they feel more supported, better understood by their teacher and school counselors, and are on the path to success.

Albuja believes that when a good resource is found at the right time, it makes a big difference! She also believes in the African proverb: “It takes a village to raise a child.” Her goal as a Parent Resource Coordinator is to share resources and support families by empowering them to overcome barriers and unexpected challenges of life.

Albuja provides resources and support for families at the following locations:

  • Boys Town, Downtown Clinic
