Smith's past clinical experiences include working with adults in skilled nursing facilities, assisted and independent living facilities, home care and teletherapy services. Her clinical interests include working with adults with neurodegenerative disorders, providing services targeting improved cognition, communication, voicing, speech disorders and swallowing difficulties. She also completes Modified Barium Swallow Studies, is the lead speech therapist in the Parkinson’s Clinic and works closely with physical and occupational therapists in the Concussion Clinic at Nebraska Medicine.
