Additionally, Van Winkle serves as associate director of outpatient services, supervisor of speech-language pathologists providing integrated speech-language services in MMI's integrated Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, and interim supervisor of staff delivering care through RiteCare Clinics.

Van Winkle joined the team in 2014. She is a part of the interdisciplinary autism diagnostic clinic at Munroe-Meyer Institute where she implements individual parent training programs for young children with autism. She also provides consultative speech therapy services for children with autism in applied behavior analysis programs and leads preschool groups in the RiteCare Clinic Omaha | MMI. She presents at state conventions, doctorate level courses and local clinics regarding important speech and Augmentative and Alternative Communication intervention strategies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
