Professional Bio
Beyersdorf came to MMI as a student, was hired the same year, and has never left! With more than 25 years of pediatric experience, she has expertise in school and early intervention settings as well as outpatient, medical programs. As previous coordinator of MMI outpatient physical therapy services, and a part of Early Intervention services, she provides services in homes, daycares and other community based venues because children and families are best served in natural environment.
Beyersdorf participates with a NICU follow-up clinic, Tracking Infant Progress Statewide (TIPS), and is a certified car seat specialist. She volunteers for community programs including The Outreach Program for Soccer, GoBabyGo! Nebraska! and various other events such as the Buddy Walk run by the Down Syndrome Alliance. Beyersdorf is passionate about all children and feels each deserves every opportunity to grow and reach their dreams.
Beyersdorf provides patient care services in the Department of Physical Therapy at Munroe-Meyer Institute.

Passionate about clinical teaching, Beyersdorf serves as a Physical Therapy Residency faculty member, and coordinates a biomedical engineering partnerships between MMI and University Nebraska-Lincoln for senior design projects.
