Megan Leamon, PhD, LMHP

Megan Leamon, PhD, LMHP, is a licensed mental health practitioner and postdoctoral fellow at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Psychology.

Leamon earned her doctorate from the University of Cincinnati’s School Psychology Program. Continuing her previous work with MMI’s Comprehensive School-Based Mental Health team, she provides clinical services in an integrated school setting. Leamon is passionate about advancing inclusion and belonging for minoritized populations and employs a culturally humble and neurodivergent-affirming approach to her clinical practice. Additionally, she is interested in improving access to mental and behavioral health services for children, adolescents and their families by integrating services in schools. Trained as a school psychologist, she also has strong interests in the science of reading, systems-level change and the implementation of evidence-based practices.
Leamon provides patient care services through the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Psychology.
