Alison Ruby, PhD, BCBA, LMHP, is a board certified behavior analyst, licensed mental health practitioner and postdoctoral fellow at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Munroe-Meyer Institute Department of Psychology.

Ruby attended Louisiana State University’s doctoral school psychology program and completed her predoctoral internship at MMI in the Behavioral Pediatrics and Integrated Primary Care track. During her predoctoral internship, Ruby received additional training through the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders Advanced Leadership in Autism program.

Ruby’s clinical and research goals include helping families and caregivers with common behavior concerns in childhood and adolescence, focusing on prevention and early intervention. Her research interests also involve answering specific questions about interventions to support clinical cases and broader questions about behavior more generally. She is particularly interested in incorporating the preferences of individuals receiving behavior change procedures into their intervention plans.
